We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and professional Salon Assistant to join our team at Skyline Salon. As a Salon Assistant, you will support our stylists and ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for our clientele. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in the beauty industry and gain hands-on experience in a high-end salon environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist stylists with client preparation (e.g., washing, blow-drying, and preparing hair for treatments)
• Ensure the salon is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
• Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain salon equipment and tools, ensuring they are sanitized and in proper working condition
• Assist with inventory management (ordering products, tracking supplies, etc.)
• Support stylists with client consultations, bookings, and appointments
• Handle customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate stylist or service
• Manage laundry, including towels and capes
• Keep the salon environment welcoming and aesthetically appealing
• Perform light administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments

Qualifications:

• Licensed cosmetologist in the state of Missouri
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset
• Basic knowledge of salon tools, products, and equipment preferred
• Willingness to learn and grow within the industry
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
